In this week’s U.S. Top 50, the top five was a clean sweep. All of those chart positions were occupied by channels that appeal to babies, toddlers, kids, and families.

Naturally, the channel at the top of the ranking is the only one that could conceivably call itself America’s favorite family hub.

CoComelon – Nursery Rhymes is still going strong. The California-based producer of animations for kids registered 526.6 million views during the third week of September, which established it as the clear #1 in our U.S. Top 50. How dominant is CoComelon? If you were to divide its weekly viewership in half, it would have still claimed the #4 spot in our American ranking.

LeoNata Family was the only other U.S.-based channel that crossed the 300 million view benchmark this week. The short-form content destination lost 28% of its viewership week-over-week, but it was still able to hold onto the runner-up status it earned a week ago. In total, LeoNata picked up 313.8 million weekly views and now has more than 15 billion lifetime views on YouTube.

Kids Diana Show also experienced a traffic dip between the second and third weeks of the month, but because of the viewership it already had, it was able to settle as the #3 channel in the U.S. Top 50. The family vlog, which follows the adventures of a globetrotting eight-year-old, remains one of the three most popular channels in its category. It proved its mass appeal this week by adding 294.2 million weekly views to its lifetime total.

The channel in fourth place this week rode a huge surge (+25% viewership week-over-week) to snag a spot in the U.S. top five. Vlad and Niki, which fits into a similar niche as Kids Diana Show, amassed 257.8 million weekly views and moved up 15 shots in the U.S. Top 50. The two Russian-born boys at the center of the channel have now brought more than 68 billion lifetime views to the YouTube hub that bears their names.

D Billions rounds out this week’s U.S. top five. The percussive and brightly-colored children’s channel counted 248.3 million weekly views.

Even though its name sounds like something you’d pick out of the trash, JunkTramp is emerging as a hallowed name in the extreme sports world. The California-based hub broke out on TikTok, where its high-flying videos have attracted more than seven million followers.

Now, JunkTramp’s vertical videos are arriving on YouTube Shorts in greater numbers, and the channel just made its first-ever appearance in our U.S. Top 50. It reached 34th place after scooping up 121.4 million weekly views. Not only was that a 42% week-over-week increase, but it was also more traffic than all of JunkTramp’s previous YouTube views, combined.

Those millions of viewers are thrilled by the titular structure, a trampoline wall constructed by J.R. Coles in his backyard. Aerial athletes and acrobats have used the JunkTramp to pull off astonishing feats, but no matter how many pinpoint jumps, treadmill stunts, and sideways dives those daredevils hit, their failures are equally amusing for viewers. The most-wathed clip on the JunkTramp YouTube channel, which has been seen 21 million times, is an epic fail:

I’ll applaud Coles and his colleagues for their willingness to upload their biggest bails. They won’t get one of those videos out of this week’s U.S. Top 50: For JunkTramp, the results are a pure success.

This week, there are 34 YouTube Shorts channels in the U.S. Top 50.
