This story will either motivate you or make you feel worse for skipping leg day.

A man from Pennsylvania still religiously exercises each week at 100 years old.

Fox 43 News reports how the Hanover YMCA celebrated the 100th birthday of Les Savino in honor of his decades-long membership. Savino drives himself from his residence at retirement community, Homewood at Plum Creek, to work out at the gym for three hours a day, five days a week.

And if that wasn’t impressive enough, the same Fox 43 article claims that Savino’s weight hasn’t changed in 35 years.

“I used to joke that he worked out harder than my 20-year-olds,” tells one retired YMCA employee, Gary McClure, to the news station. “They’d just shake their head at that and say, ‘Hey!’ but you gotta see it to believe it.”

The Evening Sun previously reported in August how one of the regimes Savino follows includes hitting a whopping total of 900 reps between 15 different machines. He also does eight miles on a stationary bike and two on a treadmill.

“They say practice makes perfect, and I’ve been practicing for a very long time,” said Savino to the Sun.

A separate Sun article puts Savino’s daily workouts on full display via various pictures, which show him doing everything from using a medicine ball to stretching to doing bicep curls.

And what diet does this champion of fitness like to eat the most?

“Spaghetti with meatballs, but only when I make it, old Italian style.”
